Indian Coriander Seeds

Coriander is a flowering plant having the scientific name as Coriandrum sativum L. of parsley, or umbellifers family constitutes an annual herb with tender green leaves, along with globular and dry schizocarp with 3-5 mm in diameter seeds famously known as “cilantro or dhania”.

Coriander seed adds pleasant lemony aromatic taste, and fragrant floral smell in day to day meals. Due to its high nutrient values, it has been used for the dual purpose of food and medicinal applications.
